Week 7: Back to School (July 21st–24th)

Kick off the school year in style with Back to School Week! Campers will create personalized school essentials like pencil cases, lunch bags, and book covers. They’ll learn key sewing skills, including zippers, linings, and decorative stitching. Get ready to head back to school with handmade flair!

Some sample projects may include:

Projects:

• Zippered pencil cases

• Fabric lunch bags with Velcro closure

• Custom book covers

• Drawstring bags

• Keychains or bag charms

  Skills Covered:

  • Sewing zippers and linings
  • Working with interfacing for structure
  • Decorative and functional stitching
  • Personalizing projects with appliqué or embroidery

Open to children ages 7-12. Space is limited to 8 campers each week.

Camps will run M-Th from 9AM-2PM

Please note, if your child is currently enrolled or has attended a previous sewing camp, we will do our best to adjust projects based on their skill level and projects to avoid potential duplicates.

Children should bring a water bottle, and a sack lunch each day. We will provide snacks and water. Please specify any allergies upon registration.

Cancellation Policy. Though never anticipated, if This n’ That has to cancel camp for any reason, we will offer a 100% refund back. Scheduled attendees who cancel 14 days or more prior to their session, will receive a full refund minus the deposit of $50. Any cancellations made less than 14 days prior to a scheduled session will be issued a half refund minus the $50 deposit. No shows = no refunds. Thank you for understanding!
