SEW to GROW – Kids Summer Sewing Camps
Join us this summer at This n’ That Creative Studio for SEW to GROW, our fun and inspiring sewing camps designed just for kids! Campers will learn essential sewing skills, build confidence, and express their creativity through hands-on projects they’ll be proud to take home.
Each week will feature a new sewing theme, from cozy accessories and wearable art to home décor and plushies—there’s always something fresh and exciting to create! Whether your child is brand new to sewing or already has some experience, they’ll learn and grow in a fun, encouraging environment.
Camps will run M-Th from 9AM-2PM. Perfect for kids ages 7+, our camps are limited to just 8 campers per session to ensure personalized instruction and plenty of space to create.

Week 1: Cozy Creations (June 2nd-June 5th)
Week 2: Artful Stitching (June 9th–12th)

Please note, if your child is currently enrolled or has attended a previous sewing camp, we will do our best to adjust projects based on their skill level and projects to avoid potential duplicates.
Children should bring a water bottle, and a sack lunch each day. We will provide snacks and water. Please specify any allergies upon registration.

Week 1: Cozy Creations (June 2nd-June 5th)
Join us for Cozy Creations Week at This n’ That Creative Studio! Kids will learn to sew cozy projects like fleece tie blankets, stuffed animals, and embroidered pillowcases. They’ll gain confidence in machine sewing and hand stitching while mastering basic pattern reading and cutting skills. Perfect for young creatives who love soft and snuggly crafts!
Some sample projects may include:

Week 2: Artful Stitching (June 9th–12th)
Let creativity and sewing collide in Artful Stitching Week! Campers will create stunning projects like appliqué wall hangings, embroidered tote bags, and patchwork cushions. This camp focuses on combining art with sewing techniques, teaching kids to express themselves through fabric and thread.

Week 3: DIY Room Décor (June 16th–19th)
Transform any space with DIY Room Décor Week! Campers will design and sew unique projects like fabric-covered bulletin boards, hanging wall organizers, and decorative pillowcases. This camp builds sewing confidence while encouraging kids to create items they’ll love using at home.

Week 4: Pajama Party Week (June 23rd–26th)
Get cozy and creative during Pajama Party Week! Campers will sew their own pajama sets, sleep masks, and cozy slippers. They’ll also create personalized pillowcases and matching drawstring bags to complete the perfect sleepover kit. This camp teaches pattern reading, machine sewing, and hand-finishing techniques while adding a fun sleepover vibe!

Week 5: Fashion Week (July 7th-11th)

Join us for Fashion Week — a full-day camp where kids will design and sew their own outfits and accessories! Campers will work with patterns, embellishments, and fabrics to create a runway-ready look. The week ends with a mini fashion show where campers can showcase their creations to family and friends.

- Designing and sewing a simple garment (e.g., skirt or shorts)
- Creating matching accessories (e.g., headbands, belts)
- Decorating t-shirts with fabric paint or embellishments
- Organizing a mini fashion show

They’ll learn how to create items that make traveling easier and more comfortable while mastering sewing machine techniques and pattern reading. Perfect for young explorers!
